We will be having our 6K this year on April 2nd, at Carolina North Forest!!
Every year, the Daniel A. Okun Chapter of Engineers Without Borders hosts a 6K Run. Why a 6K? Six kilometers is estimated to be the average distance women and children in the developing world walk each day to collect water. This year’s fun run/walk will take place at the Carolina North Forest. It will be an un-timed single track trail run or walk. Dogs are also welcome, as long as they are leashed.
Registration costs include a t-shirt, a raffle ticket, pre-race yoga session, post-run snacks, and the joy of donating to a worthwhile cause! All proceeds from the run benefit the UNC Engineers Without Borders local and international projects.
